Most Reliable Deliveries

We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.

Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is Home to Gaming, Racing, Shopping, Entertainment, and Great Restaurants

Named after the British gentlemen John Wilkes and Isaac Barré, the often mispronounced name should sound more like “Wilkes Berry” than “Wilkes Bar” or “Wilkes Beret”. New Englanders might even say “Wilkesbury” and not be far off. Nicknamed The Diamond City for its “black diamond” hard coal, Wilkes-Barre had the largest anthracite coal field in the United States at the time it was discovered in the 19th century. Today, Wilkes-Barre has become highly cosmopolitan, due to a growing multi-ethnic population and the accompanying diversity of culture, activities, and dining venues.

Wilkes-Barre’s annual Multicultural Parade and Festival features traditional American fare and delicious food from around the world, including Italian, African, Jamaican, Middle Eastern, Halal, Polish, Mexican, and Central American dishes. The city also has an incredible Greek Food Festival that offers homemade classics like spanakopita, moussaka, and baklava. The Festival is a delicious tip-of-the-hat to the region’s many Greek immigrants and their impact on local history and culture.

Entertainment centers such as the F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, a renovated movie theater, host music, theater, lectures, and movies, including arthouse and foreign-language films. The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre, a community theater since 1922, offers a variety of plays from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Locals love the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, the oldest buffet dinner theater in Northeast Pennsylvania, just one of the city’s many eateries, restaurants, bars, and coffeehouses. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply enjoys sharing our experience and expertise with regional hospitality organizations, helping them streamline and improve their businesses. Our wide range of area clients includes The Westmoreland Club, Café Toscana, and Haystacks Restaurant.

Just outside Wilkes-Barre is one of Pennsylvania’s oldest harness racing tracks, Pocono Downs, which now includes a massive casino, The Mohegan Sun. The sprawling complex features not only gambling – both table games and slots – but also nightly entertainment, a comedy club, and 14 restaurants. A multipurpose entertainment center seats 8,000 for regional UHL Penguins games, trade shows, and concerts. The nearby Wyoming Valley Mall houses 90 retail and dining establishments, and the surrounding beltway is densely peppered with many chain restaurants. Various stand-alone big-box stores, massive luxury car dealerships, and specialty businesses make the area a vibrant and busy commercial district, a regional draw for much of Northeast Pennsylvania.
