Most Reliable Deliveries

We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.

Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Harrisburg, the Capital of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth, is a Great Place to Live (and Eat)!

Harrisburg sprawls over 8 square miles of land nestled in the Southeast section of the Pennsylvania, a two hour drive from Philadelphia, and an hour from the rolling fields of Lancaster’s Amish Country. An important center for trade and manufacturing, transportation services abound, thanks in part to continuing investments in The Harrisburg Transportation Center, a railway station and transportation hub that offers passenger rail and intercity bus services in the Downtown. Transportation and distribution for agricultural and manufactured goods are key industries, and there’s a growing segment of high-tech and biotech enterprises moving into the region. However, the major economy of the city is, and always has been, tied to government: the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Federal Government are the largest local employers.

After experiencing some economic distress in the 1980’s, the greater Harrisburg community came together to create progress that’s been widely recognized and celebrated at a national level. In 2010, the city was ranked as the second best place in the country to raise a family by Forbes magazine. In U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Places to Retire in the U.S.A., Harrisburg was rated #38. Additionally, the city popped up at #34 in Best Places to Live. Affordable housing is a key component in positioning the area for future growth. Although a population of a half million people or so would suggest a high degree of urbanization, residents and visitors are quick to note the very comfortable, somewhat small-town vibe that permeates the atmosphere.

While the city boasts a varied selection of culinary events that draw foodies and gourmets alike, the Taste of Central Pennsylvania Food Festival takes the proverbial cake. More than 40 of the region’s finest restaurants, caterers, wineries, and breweries join together, offering delicious samplings of their most popular menu items. The annual event, which includes live entertainment, a raffle and a silent auction, is the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank’s most impressive fundraiser. In the past 3 decades, the festival has raised almost $2.5 million, fighting hunger and improving the quality of life for thousands of Central Pennsylvania residents. Supported by donors, volunteers, and hungry festival attendees, the Food Bank is capable of serving more than 55,000 people every single week.

If you head into downtown Harrisburg, The Broad Street Market, founded in 1860, is one of the oldest continuously open farmers’ market in America. Regional appreciation of all things culinary has made the city a welcoming environment for all sorts of eateries, bars, cafés, speakeasies, gastropubs, breweries, and fine dining establishments. Running a successful business in the hospitality industry is demanding, and requires long hours and an indefatigable commitment. At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, our team of industry professionals is equally as dedicated to supporting our broad range of customers, including Harrisburg’s own Firehouse Restaurant, Progress Grill, and Gilligan’s Too, with high quality restaurant linen services and uniform rentals.
