Most Reliable Deliveries

We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Carlisle, Pennsylvania, is a Destination known for Great Food, Fun, and some of America’s Best Car Shows

Carlisle was founded by John Armstrong Sr. in 1751 and served as a military depot during the Revolutionary War. After the patriots won American independence, Benjamin Rush, a signatory to the Declaration of Independence, founded Dickinson College, the very first college to be established in the fledgling country. Although the famous Dickinson School of Law first affiliated itself with Dickinson College, after a time, it eventually merged into Penn State and became known as the Penn State Dickinson School of Law.

Historically, Carlisle is known for its role as a critical stop along the Underground Railroad, helping slaves escape to well-deserved and hard-won freedom in the North. During the Civil War, the town was brutally attacked by Confederate soldiers during the Gettysburg Campaign, and damage from cannonball incursions still mars the exterior of the county courthouse.

Today, Carlisle is home to lots of exciting cultural events, including Bluegrass on the Grass, an eclectic bluegrass music festival that brings various musical acts to the region and offers up tempting, locally-sourced foods. The annual Carlisle Summerfair is a much-anticipated respite from long hot summers, unfolding over a ten-day period and celebrating classic Americana through parade pomp and circumstance, delicious food, fireworks, music, and contests.

Restaurant menus in Carlisle offer selections ranging from authentic German dishes to classic American fare. For those seeking something a bit uncommon, the Belgian cuisine served at Cafe Bruges includes croquettes, patês, and amazing savory crepes. They also promote their rotating collection of more than 100 Belgian beers and ales. Andalusia proudly serves Spanish and Moroccan specialties, homemade paella, a Moroccan delicacy called Djaj Tangine, and more than 20 different types of tapas. At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we continue to support the growing Carlisle restaurant scene by providing high quality table linens, uniform rentals, and facility supplies to a broad range of clients including Fiddlers Bar & Grill, the Middlesex Diner, and the Middlesex Diner.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at one of the area’s many diners, visitors can walk the Army Heritage Trail and view a selection of U.S. Army military technology. A WW1 trench system, a Hellcat tank destroyer, a French & Indian War waystation, Korean War and Cold War displays, and a Revolutionary War blockhouse are just a few of the items on display. Additional points of interest include Civil War cabins, a UH-1 Iroquois ‘Huey’, a German Pillbox system, the Yorktown Redoubt No. 10 (transported to the site from its original location in Virginia), a WW2 era obstacle course, various historical vehicles and artifacts, and much more.
