We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.

Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

In Frederick, Maryland, a World-Class Dining Experience is Just Around the Corner

A fast-growing, suburban bedroom community, Frederick is conveniently located within 80 miles of several major cities: Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland to the south, and Hagerstown and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the northwest. Well-worn Indian trails running north/south and east/west once crossed in Frederick and, over time, evolved into U.S. highways 15 and 40. Quick and easy highway access in the region, a boon to resident commuters, also comes courtesy of Interstates 70 and 270.

Travel between Frederick and Washington, D.C. is facilitated by the MARC train. Additionally, bus routes feed commuters to the Shady Grove monorail station in Derwood, Maryland. From 1896 through 1961, the Frederick & Hagerstown Railway served as a sort of interurban trolley, making it one of the last systems of its kind in the United States. Though not that crucial to commuters, Frederick’s affinity for bicycling is of great import to residents. In 2013, the town won bronze-level “Bicycle-Friendly Community” recognition from the League of American Bicyclists. The following year, the Frederick Bicycle Coalition – a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation – was formed to continue improving access for bicyclists.

Although Frederick, the seat of Frederick County – the largest county in Maryland – is located in the north-central part of the state, locals typically consider it on the northwest side, due to its proximity near the mouth of a panhandle that juts out the left side of the Old Line State.

Perched on the wooded edge of the famed Blue Ridge Mountains, Frederick is privy to some of America’s most breathtaking landscapes. Like many cities found in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, Frederick’s quaint buildings and warm, friendly downtown have inspired some gentrification. In the designated historic district alone, there are more than 200 retailers, antique shops, restaurants, and bars. What Forbes magazine called one of the “Greatest Neighborhoods” in the United States is densely packed with 19th-century row houses. The historic district is also pedestrian friendly, made possible in part by features like the Carroll Creek Promenade.

Every month, Frederick celebrates First Saturday, featuring a designated theme that runs through the event’s activities and promotions. Frederick’s crossroads location enables it to attract crowds of more than 10,000 people from all over Maryland, as well as Pennsylvania and Virginia, with even more flocking to the event during the warmer months of the year.

Celebrate Frederick, a private, non-profit organization, puts on events including a garden tour, a concert series, family-friendly theater, a wine festival, a street fair, and celebrations of Independence Day and other holidays. Come autumn, the Great Frederick Fair – a giant agricultural and country extravaganza – features more than 18,000 competitive exhibits. The many aspects of farm life, including gardening, animals, and home arts, are showcased in an incredible array of exhibits. For traditionalists, there are plenty of games, contests, prizes, music, and food. Fairgoers can stick with classic Americana like burgers, ice cream, and pizza, or sink their teeth into gourmet apples, seafood, and Pennsylvania Dutch specialties.

As a dining destination, Frederick not only competes with the nearby District, it holds its own. In fact, Zagat – the famed restaurant rating service – adores the city’s food scene and, in 2016, recommended the pork shank confit at the Tasting Room, one of Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply’s many hospitality customers in the area. The restaurant community is Frederick is diverse and expansive, with something for everyone: ethnic offerings, farm to table experiences, brew pubs, raw bars, fine dining, wood-fired grills, brunch spots, artisanal specialties, and much, much more. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is pleased to provide restaurant uniform rentals, restaurant linen rentals, laundry services, and facility supplies to hotels, inns, and a wide variety of dining establishments – including Café Nola and Main Cup – in the City of Frederick and throughout Frederick County.
