Highest Quality Products and Processes

Dempsey’s commitment to cleanliness through third-party, quantified, biological testing and inspection is validated by TRSA™ Hygienically Clean Food Service Certification. This ensures the textiles we launder meet appropriate hygienically clean standards and best management practices. Inspectors verify our laundry practices, certify our plant’s operational flowchart, and make sure procedures are mapped and employees’ use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is documented. We invest in technologies to provide hygienically clean linen that helps protect the health and safety of guests and employees. Textiles are processed using highly advanced laundering equipment, inspected by the most tenured team in the business, and securely wrapped in plastic for delivery. This saves you time and money, and provides some much-needed peace of mind.

Most Reliable Deliveries

We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.

Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Christmas City USA, was founded in 1741 on Christmas Eve

Back in the day when America’s Western Frontier was located in Eastern Pennsylvania, a group of Moravians founded a settlement that doubled as a religious refuge and a mission. The town grew into a city that evolved into an economic power during the Industrial Revolution, becoming the home of the famous Bethlehem Steel, the second largest steelmaker in the country (after U.S. Steel in Pittsburgh). Making not only raw steel, Bethlehem Steel also established a broader reputation for itself as one of the largest shipbuilders in the world, an unusual undertaking for a business located in a landlocked city.

Though Bethlehem Steel has faded into history, the city itself has rebounded, and is now considered a musical mecca for pop, underground and ethnic fans. The annual Musikfest, a gigantic, non-gated music festival, has been called one of the largest music festivals in the country, attracting visitors from across the country and around the world with almost 1.2 million attendees last year. The city also hosts events ranging from the annual Bethlehem Bach Festival, put on by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, to the special food, culture, and musical stylings of The Celtic Classic.

The Zoellner Arts Center puts on a variety of shows during the year including Izthak Perlman’s classical violin concertos, musicals, lectures, and comedy shows. Bethlehem also invested in repurposing the steel mill area into what is known as Steel Stacks. The ten-acre area, once the home of Bethlehem Steel, is now dedicated to fostering arts, culture, and public events. Every year, Steel Stacks hosts over 1,000 concerts, ticketed and free, and many different festivals, including the Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival, the InVision Photo Festival, Christkindlmarkt, PeepsFest, River Jazz, Step Outdoors Lehigh Valley, the ¡Sabor! Latin Festival, and the Lehigh Valley SoccerFest.

Dining in Bethlehem is a curious mix of standard fare and ethnic options representing Italian, Thai, Greek, Mexican, Spanish, and Creole cuisine. Visitors and residents indulge in the tastes of the region by participating in the annual Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival, once kicked off by Chef Emeril Lagasse. Hosted by the Sands Bethlehem in partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the event benefits the Northampton Community College Foundation for Student Scholarships. Northampton Community College students, from the culinary and hospitality departments, volunteer at the event, acquiring valuable experience along the way. At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we know there’s no substitute for experience. We’ve spend decades providing high quality restaurant linen rentals to many Bethlehem area eateries including Molinari Mangia, Revolution Saucon Valley, and the Apollo Grill.
