Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Nestled in New York’s Hudson Valley, Middletown offers a Wide Range of Activities, Theatre, and Restaurants

Middletown first became a village in 1844 and was subsequently incorporated as a city in 1888. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, it became a stop on several lower New York State railroads, growing in popularity and attracting several small manufacturing businesses. Although overall family farming in the region has declined steadily since the 1980s, the surrounding area is still partially devoted to small dairy farms.

When it opened in 1785, The First Congregational Church of Middletown served a spiritual anchor for the population, and its current building, constructed in 1872, features the highest spire in town. Currently, the downtown area, particularly North Street and East/West Main Street, is home to a variety of ethnic eateries and numerous small shops.

The city is well known for its ethnic diversity, and particularly for a number of excellent Italian restaurants that, together, have created a feeling of “Little Italy” in the dining scene. For example, Cosimo’s Brick Oven is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in not only traditional Italian favorites, but also unique menu items, with a focus on locally-produced, farm-to-table ingredients.

Other eateries include DeStefano’s Olde Erie, with its Italian, traditional American, and vegetarian items, as well as artisan restaurants scattered about the locale. For those who prefer to explore other tastes, there are many other area restaurants that offer Indian, Asian, Latin American, Puerto Rican, and Japanese specialties. Dempsey Uniform & Supply is proud to provide uniform services, table linens, and facility supplies to a number of Middletown’s restaurants, including the Texas Roadhouse, Fuji Japanese Steakhouse Sushi, and Mr. Sushi and Grill.

For a memorable night out, The Hudson Opera Theatre offers shows including Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Orchestral Concert and Handel’s Messiah, and opera such as Verdi’s La Traviata and Lucia di Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti. The historic Paramount Theatre entertains locals and tourists alike with modern movies and live shows, like the Polka of Jimmy Stuff or concerts by the SUNY Orange Symphonic Band.

Popular local activities include The Middletown Rotary’s Annual Charity Horse Show, which takes place each autumn at the Fancher Davidge Park. The show is a judged event, and features both Western and English-style competitions. Also, Balloon Rides and Fantasy Balloon Flights both offer exquisite views of the scenic Hudson Valley region’s forests, mountains, lakes, and rivers.
