Most Reliable Deliveries

We understand that linen shortages can really slow your restaurant down, frustrating employees and affecting your restaurant’s image.

To increase your restaurant’s efficiency, we leverage technologies, like our VacuTrack™ and MobileLink™ systems, to make complete deliveries on your scheduled delivery day. We accurately track the soiled linens you turn in, maintain deep inventories of the products you use, and route our trucks with GPS precision to make sure your delivery is on schedule.

Lowest Total Cost

Invoices from other restaurant linen suppliers can be frustrating. They may not even tell you how many linens you’re using.

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we harness technologies, like our VacuTrack™, CustomerPortal, and SilverSaver™ systems, to provide you with knowledge and insight via an online Customer Portal. This proprietary interface enables you to view and adjust your orders to control the total cost. We only bill you based on usage, plus, when employees leave flatware in your soil bags, we collect and return it to you at no additional cost.

Home to a Small Restaurant Scene, Short Hills, New Jersey, is just Minutes from more Delicious Options

Short Hills is a very classy, exclusive neighborhood located in Millburn Township. It began as the brainchild of inventor Stewart Hartshorn who made his fortune developing and manufacturing the self-acting roller shade. Envisioning a residential community that would exist in harmony with nature, Hartshorn designed streets that enhanced the contours of the land and maximized privacy. Although he began with only 13 acres of land, he later added to the parcel and ended up with 56 acres. Today, the entire village lies within 1,552 acres or 5.2 square miles. Most of the residential plots outside of Hartshorn’s holdings are about a half-acre in size.

To make commuting into nearby New York City easy for residents, Hartshorn wanted his perfect town to be located near a passenger rail line. In 1879, he financed the building of the Morris & Essex Railroad Station, which connected to Hoboken, and from there, into the Big Apple itself. Currently, New Jersey Transit’s “Midtown Direct” offers a non-stop ride to Penn Station in Manhattan. The trip takes about 45 minutes, 20 minutes faster than when transfers were required in Hoboken.

Stunningly beautiful and meticulously maintained, Short Hills has become home to a host of highly paid executives and other affluent residents, with a median income of more than $200,000 and a median listing price for homes at $1.75 million. Dubbed “the richest town in America” by Time Magazine, it boasts the highest percentage of households in America that earn more than $150,000. It is certainly appropriate that Dun & Bradstreet makes its headquarters here.

Short Hills’ business district is small: the Post Office is located near the rail station, and a smattering of small shops and eateries can be found just a short distance away. This is the extent of the Short Hills “downtown.” Small groups of support businesses are spread throughout in the community, with cafés and restaurants tucked conveniently into office buildings. Stepping outside Short Hills into the greater Millburn Township, foodies can enjoy a variety of cuisines including seafood, Greek, Italian, and New American offerings. At Dempsey Uniform & Supply, we are proud to supply uniform rentals, high quality restaurant linens, and facility supplies to restaurants, diners, and eateries located in Short Hills and the surrounding area.
